Worms, snails, and slugs, found mostly under rocks or tucked into crevices.

Serpulid worms:

Perhaps the marginella Volvarina?, approximately 1 cm.

Caliostoma species.

Trivia, confused as to the species.

Jewels appear to line the skirt of Cadlina modesta.

Ancula gibbosa

Cadlina flavomaculata

And people get bored because they don't look closely! On the Trivia note that the ribs cross the central area of the shell so most likely Trivia californica rather than Trivia solandri.

I love, love, love the folks like you guys who spend the time photographing the little stuff that most of us don't even notice. It's a great learning opportunity to study your photographs and identifications -- not to mention the pictures are just goldurned pretty!

Thanks again for the great photos Merry. Love the worm pictures.
I think we saw you guys on Sunday.
We were diving Terrenea (OML) (without our DiveVet leader Rev Al), and since the VIS was down just went looking for the tube worms.
Love the orange colored ones. Serpulids

To: Max B-time & Merry,
Always a pleasure to see your photos, They make me a bit jealous and give me some good ideas about how to plan my own underwater shots. Happy Jingle Bells
