Very cool! Have you ever participated ToneDog? Is it 6 puzzles due to the size of the pool or that's how many teams are expected? I'd love to know more.

i did it last year, more on the line of worked it last year, still very fun especially if you have a group to go with. generally you have approx. 45 min to dive and complete the puzzle. ill be there again this year to work and do the puzzle. my son dragged a glass box around so the bubble watchers could see what was happening. also there are windows below for looking under water.

Hi Paula, This event takes place at the Cleveland State University pool, which is 16' deep. There are six different Puzzles to accomidate lots of divers. In a day about 120 divers run thru on average, but up to 200 could be achieved. You can pick what time you want to dive. You get about an hour or 500psi to complete the puzzle. I have been doing this for the past 4 years...the past 2 have been involved with the safety end of it with my dive club (Aqua Amigos). Its a lot of fun for a good cause. Plus the whole puzzle aspect is challenging......hint....for a real challenge be one of the first teams in...the puzzles are mixed up at 100% for the first divers...they are mixed at approx 30% after that....if you do come make sure to say "Hi", and your more than welcome to hang out with us Amigos..plus we always do an intense post dive event debriefing that sometimes takes hours at a quiet library. Some times we even drink kool aid and maybe have a cookie or two....... ;o)

Are you sure? I thoight the depth there was like 22'....I know they have a 10m tower and I know the end by the tower is slightly deeper. Regardless, it's deeper tham most 'deep end' pools. It's an 8-lane 50m pool that is converted to a 10 lane 25yd pool in the deep end for competition. The deep end is huge. The shallow end is about 6 to 8 feet.

For anyone interested, CSU natatorium has some rather impressive pool records as some of the fastest swimmers in the world competed there in the late 70s / early 80s. They held NCAA championships and I believe the US open there some time ago. To the best of my knowledge, Matt Biondi and Tom Jager still have records there. It was one of my favortie pools to compete at.

Big T....Im positive its 16'...but the pool is huge and the water is very clear so it looks deeper than it really is...and in case anyone is wondering, NO, you cant do an entry off the 10 meter platform...believe me....everyone has asked....
