Tragic Sunday in the waters of Lake Garda. A Torri del Benaco, around 10 this morning, in the waters off the Baia dei Pini, a very young diver (20 years old) , a resident of Verona , lost his life .
It seems that the boy was diving with his father and was also in the company of his young sister, who however remained on the beach. At one point, for reasons that are under consideration by those who investigate and that probably can only be clarified by the autopsy, the boy crashed towards the bottom of the lake .
Useless, even if timely, the relief immediately brought by a diving instructor who recovered the body, from the White Cross of Torri, from the medicalized ambulance of the 118 game from Caprino, from the Carabinieri Nautici di Torri, from the Coast Guard of Salò, from the Fire Brigade Fire intervened with a dinghy, and by the Torri Local Police. Those who have seen the rescue speak of a possible illness that may have struck the boy, or of pulmonary embolism but, obviously, only the autopsy tests will say the last word on this umpteenth tragedy that occurred in Garda. The body was taken to the mortuary cell, available to the magistrate on duty.
