ISO: boots & gloves: beg steal or borrow in Ann Arbor

My 13 yo son and I are getting AOW cert this coming weekend and we're in need of 5+ mm boots and gloves to borrow or buy used cheaply. We are unlikely to continue diving in cold water with any regularity, so I'd rather not buy them new at this point.

Anyone able to help? Or suggest where to pickup some used ones last minute?

we both are size 12 shoes, size 12 aqualung boots fit fine at Huron Scuba. I've got large hands so probably XL gloves, son probably L or M.
