We can offer up to four dives a day here at Thatch (although many people do two in the morning and go kayaking or manatee watching in the afternoon or just sit out in their hammocks) and as another poster mentioned, we have spectacular wall dives, equal to the atolls, right here in our area. We also do night dives and we do whale shark dives around the full moons of March, April, and May. We have everything from a cavern dive into a salt water cave called the Balck Hole, to another site called the Abyss that drops off into nothingness, to grouper filled points, and another site called Jason's Wall which is a dive that starts at forty feet and goes down to one hundred feet into a sandy center with a complete wall of coral encirling the center and creating the effect of being in a giant coral filled stadium. We also do trips to all three atolls. Check Thatch Caye Resort - A Handmade Resort off the coast of Belize for more info. Mayan ruin tours can also be integrated into a customized package as a day trip from the resort since we are only a half hour away from the mainland.

Thanks for your response, Thatch Caye. I am definitely interested in your resort on our next Belize adventure. We're already booked for Isla Marisol next month. But we love Belize and like trying new parts of it, since there is so much to explore. I'll check back with you on SB when we're ready to go back.
