Isla Marisol Resort is the ultimate Island adventure in Belize on our private 18 acre Island resort inside the infamous Glovers Reef Atoll and marine reserve. We are a member of Unesco and one of few World Heritage site located in Belize. Glovers is home to only 5 small coconut palm Island, Isla Marisol Resort was built on the the family own Island of Jack Usher and his family. Today Isla Marisol is still a privately owned Family Island with everything the adventurous diver is looking for in an off the beaten path vacation. We just returned from Isla Marisol with a group of 7 divers- all seasoned divers, advanced plus skills including instructors. Isla Marisol was outstanding in its services from comfort to excellent diving. The staff/team at Isla Marisol was quick to ensure our dive vacation was one of the best ever. We specifically targeted Isla Marisol for its closeness to Glovers Atoll and Gladden Spit and our hope for whale shark sighting. We were not disappointed in anyway. What you give up (the Ritz or Hilton) you gain in a true island dive vacation! Do you really have to have 24/7 Internet? Is that really getting away? We had the beauty of Belizean diving, unencumbered by hoards of boats and other divers at the same sites, healthy reef and Loggerhead on every dive. Yes, we saw the first whale shark of the season and dove with several pods of wild dolphin! But even if we did not have the whale shark, every dive was great! We had a beautiful island to ourselves, great staff and everything to keep us comfortable. Staying at Isla Marisol means that dive sites are literally minutes away as opposed to 35-40 boat rides to each dive.
