Any recommendations for Isis bungalows in Panglao (pics look nice, but can't find much info on it) or other budget accomodation (ie around 20-30 USD)with A/C for two people?

We'll be doing some diving so if there are some good hotel/dive packages from a specific hotel, that would be great as well!

Thanks!

or try www.phildivers.com. I dived with them last time in Bohol

thanks for the website! i checked it out earlier and the pics look nice, but was wondering if anyone had visited it or had a personal experience there.

do you remember seeing it when you were in panglao last time? is the location convenient or too far out from dive shops and restaurants?

It is right next door to the dive shops. If your facing the ocean, Phildivers would be on right, to the left would be Genesis Divers.

Yes it looks nice very nice. From what I heard, it has limited food menu. But that is not a problem, you can always walk down the beach where there are a lot other restaurants. Try Lost Horizon (right next door to Isis) for native cooking and Phildivers Lodge for some German cuisine. Drinks? no problem, there's a nice bar next to Genesis Divers. It's called Oops Bar!

Here are some more info on Alona http://www.theendoftheworld.org/pinoy04/day7.shtml and http://www.virtualtourist.com/trave...nd-1387326/Nightlife-Panglao_Island-BR-1.html

great, thanks for all the info!

one more question, how long does it take to walk the whole alona beach?

hmmm...slow? 30+ minutes. It is safe walking at night too. You can even have a massage at the beach right in front of Isis (at night).

BTW, you're welcome..glad to be of help.
