Dropped by the LDS today, guy had a Zeagle Ranger that was used. He knows the history of it for the last two years or so. I would say its newer... has the mask roll up pouch, and no discoloration. Bladder looks good, and there are no leaks. I even got it in the water at my wifes class' pool session. I'm sold, but with bran new ones being 615$, is his asking price of 325$ too much? What do y'all think?

He also has a Mares regulator with a Uwatic Aladdin Prime and octo. That would bring the total to 900$. BTW, the regulator isn't on the Mares website anyone so I dont really know how old it is.

What do y'all think?

Without knowing the exact age and amount of use the price doesn't sound too out of line. If you like to negotiate maybe you can get him to throw in some free service minor BC accessories.

I have heard that new ones can be had on occasion for as little as $500. You've just got to be ready to pounce when a deal comes along. Depends on how soon you need it and what your budget will allow.

I did look on E-bay and other locations and it is right on for a used one of that model. I am diving it again this weekend so we'll see.

How many D rings on the shoulder straps? 4 newer, 2 older. How many dump valves? 1 older 2 newer.

Price wise $325 sounds reasonable. I think I sold mine for a bit more. It came with the yellow mesh weight pockets.

Took the plunge and bought it. Put five dives on it this weekend. Today, I tried to compensate for a perceived or actual underweight yesterday and was way too heavy. Next dive will go back to my previous weight. Yesterday though, she dove perfectly. Also bought the reg which has worked perfectly all weekend. Found out just HOW new the computer I bought with the reg was, only had 14 dives on it since new. have to go back by the shop this wek and get the manuel and papers on it.

Bonnie passed everything with flying colors and we logged two dives together. This is the start of something very expensive =)
