I wouldnt think so. I can give Mike at The Dive Locker a call tomorrow and find out for sure for you though...

Why do you want to get a dive in??? If so, let me know, I am up for it!!!
Long drive, but at least I wont get blown out...

Hi Chuck,

Ya, I'm actually thinking about sneaking down early tommorow morning to see if one of my wrist seals is leaking and to play around with my argon bottle. Asumming it's ice free, I'm going to be making some frequent trips down there over the next few weeks while I'm on break to get some practice time in.

Hmmm... well, I wouldnt be able to make it down there tomorrow morning, but give me a little more notice next time, and I'll join you!!!

From my experience, with this weather we have been getting, I dont think it will be frozen for a few more weeks... Unless of course, it turns cold and stays cold...

I'm a diver in Virginia who would love to get up there and shore dive with some of you guys whats the best time of year I dive dry and hate quarry (boring after a few weekends) and expensive weekends to Hatteras NC .

Any Suggestions

The best time would be late May thru late August... and thats due to the weather being pretty snotty the rest of the year. However, you can get blown out in the middle of the summer too!!! The best thing is to pick a weekend during the season, and come on up!!! Im sure if you post it in the NELD forum, somebody will go diving with you, and if not, get you drunk instead!!!

Let us know...

Cool. I appreciate it. I need to get in the water soon...

And shore diving almost never gets blown out here. If one side is blown out, we just go over to the other.

Sounds Great!! I have a five hour dive hotels ect. and then getting blow out of a charter at 90.00 a day. Shore Diving is fun for me. To me that's one of the things great about California Shore dive or CHARTER. I ASSUME THAT IT'S SIMILAR UP THERE? I've checked out Cape Ann on the net seems like a good area any other suggestion?
