Hi

We are staying on the westside Grand Cayman at Comfort Suites and wondering if there is a westside map of Dive operators any where out there??

Map? Not that I've ever heard of. Most will pick you up from your hotel, so the choice of operator is really up to you.

You will find that every dive operator on the island, with the exception of Ocean Frontiers, dives on the West side of the Island at some point or another. Some operators move their diving around depending on the weather and where the best conditions are on the day, others dive the same areas every day.
Bear in mind that just because you are staying on 7-mile beach doesn't mean that your diving is restricted to the west side of the island. The North wall is just as easily accessible and provides (in my opinion) much better diving but the time of year you are here will dictate the weather conditions to a large extent.
Generally speaking in the winter months the majority of diving is conducted on the West and South sides of the Island and during the summer the operators that care will dive North as much as possible!

My advice is to choose your dive operator based on the quality of diving they will provide you with which (again, in my opinion) should point you towards small groups with personalised service and plenty of experience. As Drew pointed out pretty much every operation will pick you up from your hotel and it is only ever a 5-10 minute drive to departure points.
www.divecayman.ky will give you a list of all operators although it is not always up to date. We have lost a few since hurricane Ivan and even before!
Let me know if you would like a comprehensive list of current operators!

Really what I want is someone small and close to Comfort Suite 3/12,13,14/06, it's just me diving and I'd also like to do some shore driving if possible.

several maps show all the dive sites around the island and I was looking for something like that. a map that list the dive operation locations from the top to bottom on 7 mile beach.

hope this makes sence:huh:

The question just doesn't quite make sense for Cayman. There's a bunch of hotels along Seven mile beach, and a bunch of ops that cover the area, and within that distance doesn't really matter. It's not that far and they'll pick you up for boat dives. Pick the op based on other factors, like for instance you said you want small. Thing is, not all the ops have an actual shop that you would go to, especially smaller ones. And even if they do, the boats may be leaving from different locations anyway.

If you are thinking you want this info to go shore diving from a nearby shop with a shore diving there, there's not that many. There's Divetech at Turtle Reef and Cobalt Coast to the north of SMB, and Eden Rock, Sunset House, and I think Don Fosters to the south all pretty near each other. (You wouldn't actually shore dive from 7MB.) If you are thinking you will want run to some nearby shop to rent tanks to go shore diving other places, not all ops will rent tanks for that so you'd have to check. There are a few other places to shore dive but there's not a lot and access is limited, basically it's not Bonaire.
