Sure DDI. She is not into online communities (unlike me: I open a profile in one or more forums every time a pick up a new interest), but since this thread was about her, it made sense to let her read you answers.

BTW I looked for spider crabs migration on YouTube... blimey, looks like sci-fi stuff!
 
Glad to see that's she's going. I can't remember ever having seen a shark in Bonaire. That might be a great place for her to go and get used to seeing stuff. There are morays that sometimes swim free. As she gets more comfortable in the water, her concern about sharks may dissipate. Long before I started diving I was afraid of barracudas. I had read about how they are attracted to shiny things. I got out of the water when I was snorkeling in St. Barths cause I saw one. Now they are pretty ho hum. (BTW, I'm female)

I hope you both fall in love with diving.
