I have not been able to reach the site since Friday night. Just wondering if it's my PC or if the site is down.. Thanks.

Yes, it's down. Now the website has a place where you can enter your email address to be notified when it comes back up.

This is posted there now:

The ScubaDiving.com website is currently unavailable.
We are working diligently to restore services.

I receievd an email that said, "we will be back bigger and better as soon as possible."

I prefer Scubaboard. I used to spend a lot of time over there until I found this board. I like how things are separated by subject here and how new posts get moved up.

I'm really bummed. I love the gallery here and use it to store my pictures I use on my dive reports. It's been down for three weeks now. Since then I was using my Rodale's gallery, which sucks. It's been down for a week now so I had to sign up for Picture Trail. Photobucket automatically resizes my images too small for reports. I miss the convenience of having all my pictures in one gallery.

I prefer ScubaBoard for the forums, but I really like scubadiving.com for the trip reports. There's a section just for trip reports - I've asked for a separate trip reports section here on SB, but have been told "no - we just want them posted in the associated geography forum (i.e. Hawaii, Florida, etc.)".

I like to read trip reports from anywhere, doesn't matter where. And I don't want to have to navigate all of the different geography forums to root them out. I'm sure there are very good reports from places whose forums I just never make it to. It's unfortunate that they're buried someplace.

Or is it just me?
