Is Rubicon Foundation's Archive defunct?

thanks, I was with Gene this weekend helping our DSO move down to Florida. I will make sure he sees this thread and will reach out. I'm not sure what current status is since it was a bit hectic but I'll see what I can do.

If this is something nasty like a corrupt raid or drive, I spend a good part of my day doing digital forensic work... I'd be happy to take a look at something like this and spend some time on it. If it's really bad - total drive failure - I'd be willing to discuss footing the bill for the recovery, I'm sure others would as well.

It is hard to guess based on second hand info, but I'd venture to say that I have a 95 percent chance of having the requisite skill set to recover the data, and if I don't, I know someone who does. @tbone1004 you can pm me if you like for contact details.

Google Scholar has been helpful while searching for information on scuba related injuries.

You can still access the collection catalogues through archive.org (see below). Of course search doesn't work, but you can browse the collections to get titles. Unfortunately, many of the actual pdfs were not archived, but with the title you might be able to find it via Google or Google Scholar.

BTW, if you have or know of web pages with resources that you would like preserved for the long term, please search it on archive.org. Normally they will have the web pages, but not linked pdfs or office format documents. However, if you click the link on these resources while on an archived page and they haven't copied it, they will ask if you want them to do it. If you agree, then they will archive it immediately.

I have done this for all the service manuals on my Mares reference page. It just took a few minutes to save these things even if the freehost they are located on disappears. See Mares Regulator Service Manuals and Info [on archive.org].

The website URL www.rubicon-foundation.org is no longer active.
The Web archive has the website but does not seem to have the papers anymore.
This sucks, because I collected a lot of links to interesting papers, which I can't find anymore.
