Voop- no offense taken here and I agree very much with your thought on the fact that human beings have such a wonderfully diverse set of experiences, dreams and interests. It allows for the possibility that all of us can achieve those dreams... if we all wanted the same thing, it would be much more difficult.

I want a single female DIVER for a girlfriend. Yes, that is a little harder to find. Why do I have this stipulation that they have to be a diver??? Because my last girlfriend was NOT a diver, and she gave me so much sh*t about diving, it was not even funny. We finally broke up two months ago, and Ive never been happier. So, now, my next girlfriend is going to be a diver...

Its too bad that there isnt a match.com for divers...

Here are two more sites to try:

1. DivingSingles.com
2. ScubaMatch.com (This one allows you to email other divers for free and is thinking about putting a chat/message board up for divers to connect as well. I like it cuz it is free!)

Note: edited to fix typo

Why do I want a partner who dives? Simply because I dive so much (300-325 dives per year currently), I would not want to create a "dive widow."

My developing business requires long hours doing the diving and then editing and archiving the UW video. I would really love to have a partner who enjoys these activities as well so we could dive and work together in this small business.

I would not rule out a non-diver, but I certainly would prefer it.

Totally 110% understandable.

1. Swim at the YMCA or community pool regularly

2. Join a dive club and help out with activities

3. Join a D/M class and help a dive shop with classes

4. Sign up for www.groups.yahoo.com and join a local scuba board

5. Put your photo on Scubaboard.com and start a long distance relationship for scuba travel

If that's what you want, you will find it.

thanks Indigo.

Now, just how does one post a picture here?

She is a beautiful diver with an incredibly beautiful photo posted herself. I'm sure she can help you with that.
