Is it possible to haul a single cylinder worth of scuba gear, suit included on a motorcycle. If so, has anyone ever done this?

Possible, yes. Prudent, no. Just like diving, any idiot can do it — until something goes wrong. A tiny motorcycle mishap that would normally result in a few scratches on the bike could be deadly for you and people within blast range. Think of the damage that the cylinder, or anything heavy, could do to you even if it stays intact.

Also consider the route. A few blocks in a small island beach town is one thing while a hour away on a divided highway is quite another.

Dove out of Milwaukee last weekend, and one of the guys on the boat rode up all the way from Louisiana for the HD 125th anniversary bash. He had a large Harley with a trailer, which is where he kept all his dive gear.

Pretty sure anywhere you drive a motorcycle with exposed gas cylinders in the US you're going to be accosted by a horde of Karens, worst of all a Karen cop who will find any number of reasons to fine the life out of you.

Anywhere you are likely to see three or more people on a scooter, I'm sure you'll be fine.

I have seen it done in person, and safely. A passer by wouldn't know there was a full set of scuba gear. Just need the right bike.

Everything loads into a Ural just fine.

If you don’t have a car it might be a solution, not a safe one for western standards.
Pretty sure you won’t enjoy the bike ride, so if you would do it to combine hobby’s then you will be disappointed.
