Is it ok to pee on the deck floor?

Ok so i dive a drysuit and im hooked up with a pee valve and i haft to pee were do i pee at with out taking off my cathed?

NO!! go to the back of the boat and stand off the back man!! On the other hand if your shore diving just go stand by a bush.

There are different schools of thought about this. I know some guys that will just let loose while they are standing there talking to you. Some will hang off the ladder or move someplace more discreet.

I think my general guideline would be to go where you would feel comfortable if you weren't wearing your drysuit.

No, if I am feeling seasick, I would want to lay down along the backbone of the boat. I dont really want to be laying down in your puddle of urine. Go the back and flush with water or use the marine toilet.

Pardon my bluntness, but except for an indecent exposure charge, how does this differ than someone without a pee value just urinating on the deck? Although I have been in some bars in California and Alabama where this conduct is acceptable on the wall behind the building, I am not quite sure I want the deck of a boat I am on to be turned into an open sewer.

Is this something that requires advise? How about "don't hold your breath on ascent", "don't go too deep and stay too long", "plan your dive, dive your plan" and last but not least, "always have your mask, fins and snorkle handy for the long swim back to shore for pi**'n on the deck of my boat"... Go sit on the swim platform and open your valve.
