I order and received my backplate less than a month ago, just before the web site was down.

Got an email from Mark at hammerhead scuba. They are still working and he says,

"Tell the boys over there [scubaboard] that Ed's trying to get a new website set up but they can call us anytime to order backplates. We can be reached at our Main website www.swmetalproducts.com"

I purchased a BP/STA/Hog harness rig from them less than one month ago off the website. No problems with the purchase and prompt delivery at a reasonable price. The nice "backplate"(more like front;) ) photos were an added bonus to doing business with Hammerhead.

Good to know. Did you have to do any deburring or was the plate finished?

For many people, the backplate is finished.
For me is was something like 5 minutes dremel and sand paper but I like PERFECTION.
For the STA, there is more work, it is as cut

Hope this help
