Am trying to map out trip. Is Ginnie (pleasantly) doable on weekends or is it a zoo and better to plan for weekdays?

Thanks

Holiday weekends are horrible. I'll let you know about normal weekends after the 6th and 7th of May.

I've done Ginnie a number of times. I hear it's quite crowded on the surface during summer months, but it's not so bad in the cooler months. I've been there about 7-8 times in the past 5 months. I never had any problems.

Depends on how you define ZOO !!!
Tubers and swimmers YES !

Get there early to get a good parking spot...(Saturday and Sundays)

As in VERY early!

Think eggs at Alice's at 7AM, GInnie shop at 0800...usually the hung-over campers don't emerge until 10 or 11...

During the summer, the weekdays resemble the weekend...
