This is exactly what it says it is....an SB Moderator. Which one now? Well.....that's the point....they'd prefer not to say.

Were the posts against the TOS? Can you get a thread shut down now just by complaining about it enough?

My BS alarm is ringing ... either there are ToS violations or there aren't. And if there are, what are they?

And this hiding the identity of senior staff is a really bad idea ... smacks of secret tribunals and all that nonsense.

On the other hand, what good is having a little bit of authority if you can't abuse it once in a while.

Well honestly Bob, I didn't follow the thread so I don't know if any posts have been deleted. From a purely technical perspective though....if the thread has just been closed and nothing has been deleted (presumably because it was "too many" to think about), then any violations are still out there. That doesn't seem to make much sense to me. Still....... it certainly looks odd at the moment.

Management and customer liason certainly seems to have hit a bit of a sticky patch in the last few weeks.
