I'm a Fish!
One of my computers is a Galileo Luna. I have a macbookpro and will use Parallels in order to get the dive computer to talk to my software.

I am only finding old, dead links to products that absolutely, positively work with mac/parallels so that I can start using my Luna more often.

What IrDa is absolutely known to work and they sell today? Thanks.

Using parallels you should be able to use any random irda adapter, as long as it has windows drivers. I use one for my Sol and my son's Luna that was $10 a few years ago. It's a generic that I bought Tiger Direct if I recall correctly. Amazon has a few likely candidates in that range now. Don't waste $$ on the Polar or ScubaPro branded ones.

The only hard part is finding something that would work with JTrak natively on the Mac. I hope MacDive gets support for the galileos one of these days, Neil then I'm stuck with Parallels and Win7.

Hi:

There are many old posts on this thread, but Apple uses a chip-set that does not support UWATEC IR protocols. One of the problems with Apple's closed source approach to systems. Really too bad, ad Smarttrack is a really nice program. I use both Apple and PC products, and they both have their pluses and minuses.
