I shot them a message a while ago asking that same question. I can't seem to pull up the message anymore but if I remember correctly, it's Boating Weather by Blur Whale Weather.

I looked at Boating Weather from Blue Whale but it doesn't have the same interface (maybe a newer version?). I've also posted the question to SW.

Thanks,
Gary

I'm interested in what they say, I need a new weather app myself.

I will post if and when I hear from them.

Two weather apps that I kept on my iPhone: Wunderground and My Radar. Both are the free editions with relatively unobtrusive adds.

Living on the Great Lakes, marine weather would also be nice to have. Not all of the Marine apps include the Great Lakes. Additionally, it's fun to watch the marine conditions in places I like to travel to for diving.

I frequently use the National Data Buoy Center from NOAA for ocean conditions. Once your know your "local" buoy number, you can get hourly conditions such as air and water temp, wave height, wind, etc. The water temp is surface temp not at depth. National Data Buoy Center

Sorry I didnt mention that the NDBC is not an app. I just save the page for my local buoy and save it as a shortcut on the phone homescreen.

good info

I've been using windguru for years and about a year or two ago started using the windguru app. The free version gives you a full week's forecast of weather, surf and wind for spots around the globe.
