Well I'm very new to diving, having just received my certification.

My wife and I are plainning on diving here in the Pacific Northwest, as well as, other destinations since we will have the opportunity for frequent travel with my job.

I would like to begin underwater photography, however, I plan on getting some dives under my belt before jumping in. (Pun intended.)

Welcome to the board!

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

Congrats on the new certs! It sounds like you have a good plan. You should be able to get lots of great info around the various forums on the board. Have fun.

Don't forget to fill out your profile, so that we can add context to your future posts. Also, once we know where you are geographically, you may find that you'll have a whole bunch of new dive buddies to choose from locally.

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.

Hello from Matt, :thumb:

Welcome to SB! :1poke: I came here to look for help with my scuba diving dream and the response has been fantastic. So, I know you will enjoy being a member here.
There are a lot of nice and informative scuba divers. It's a good place to meet other divers and share experiences and dreams. Take care from Matt. :snorkels:

Welcome to Scuba Board! It's great to have you as a member. You'll soon find that diving is very addictive, as is this site, but who cares? It's all in good fun. Have fun looking through the forums, and good luck with the photography!

Hope to see you around the board!!

Welcome! Hopefully I'll have the training and equipment (been tropical only for me so far) to join you in the chilly PNW waters before not too long!
