Introduction to a fantastic forum

Hey fellow scubaboard members! My name is Dean and I'm new to the sport So far the plan is to get kitted up and start diving ASAP! Any helpful tips and info on places to dive and equipment would be great

To begin discussions on places to dive and what kind of equipment to purchase, how about telling us where you were certified i.e. cold water lake or quarry, salt water with ten foot vis or 80 foot viz in tropical waters. What kind of diving do you see yourself doing primarily? Tropical only a few times a year, or perhaps lake diving mostly with a few salt water trips in cold or warmer water. It's also really helpful if you can update your profile from time to time as you dive. Some of the forum members look at our profile to gather information to assist answering your questions. We can't talk u/w, but we are jabber boxes here!!!
