If my memory serves me correctly......DAVE ........was the first! But it doesn't matter really. Hey if I don't end up buying a new digital camara before Bonaire can I use yours? I have been reading all about this new Olympus sp-350, and it sounds like what I am looking for, but you can't buy them yet.

My formal introduction I also do what I can to wipe out Microsoft and show people the way.

Gentoo user here. Though I'd recommend a Debian-based distro over SuSE for beginners to linux. Knoppix or Ubuntu come to mind. Updating on these is much easier than with SuSE.
