Square Lake out towards Stillwater is the most frequented dive spot close by. It has the best viz out of the local lakes just because of some goofy geologic and geographic features.

A little bit father away are Lake Wazee in WI and Crosby Mines in northern MN. Then, there's always Superior. I haven't dove there yet myself - it's on the list for this summer. PM me (private message, that is) if you want to hook up to talk more.

Welcome guys from a MN transplant. Couldn't take the cold any more so left MN 10 years ago for Florida and never looked back. Gotta love this 83 degree weather in February. Went diving today, water was flat, vis was near 100 feet and notta on the current. What a great day. If you ever get to the Ft. Lauderdale are PM me and maybe we can hook up and get wet.

If I have any say in it I will be there soon. I am currently job hunting and SoCal and FLA are on the top of my list.

Good luck with the job and hope to see ya soon.
