Hi all, just wanted to introduce myself. I am very new to diving, actually just finished confined dives and getting ready for open dives next weekend. My coworkers think I am having a mid-life crisis, I like to think of it as a mid-life awakening! Laura

Welcome to your new life! Don't underestimate the seriousness of what you have embarked upon. Only be sure to enjoy it for all it's worth!

Hey Laura. Same here. I 53 years old and just got my advanced open water. Always wanted to learn how and decided that my bucket was starting to get a little rusty on the bottom so I figured it was time. Welcome to the underwater world!!

Although I've dived since I was a little tyke back in 1961-62, I've found that my best diving began at 40... 40 years into my diving "career." Enjoy your new found passion.
