Hey y'all,
New to the board but not diving. I originally certified as a PADI diver through an elective course in college. After college I hit the mideast on a free trip with the Army and made it back home without picking back up on diving.
I married a few years ago and it turned out that my father in law was just getting into diving. So I picked my interest back up and went through a second cert class through NAUI and began making dives. Here I am 5 years later, assisting him as an assistant instructor in showing others the immense fun and pleasure diving can be. I never thought I would be where I am now, and hope to get certed in cave diving shortly and a few other specialties of interest.
I have been floating around the forums for a while now and see that there are many seasoned dive masters and instructors with valuable knowledge that is ripe for the picking; which I will be doing!
