I just don't log dives
'Ello everyone. Just thought I'd go ahead and introduce myself to the local diving community. Been diving 5 years, although my log book does not reflect it. Live in Hampton Roads, and my dive buddy is my father. Got my certification under the instruction of the late, and great Mr. Robert Shourot of Underwater Adventures in Hampton, Virginia. That's Underwater Adventures. Virginia's Largest Professional Dive Shop. Call (757) 826-3945 for those that are curious.
Most of my diving experience has been at Lake Rawlings, as well as the Flying Fish back when it was in Virginia Beach, and now that it is in Hatteras. Spent a week diving in the Dominican Republic for my birthday, which was absolutely killer. Also, we are planning a trip to "The Mighty O" in Pensacola this coming fall.

Anywho, just wanted to poke in for a quick question... Looking to do a little spear fishing, and somebody told us that there is a campground a couple miles across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel , that also has great beach diving and good fishing. They also mentioned something about trolley cars, but I can't find anything with Google. Anyone know anything about this? Any help would be appreciated. Safe diving, hopefully we'll cross paths.

Welcome aboard. I belive the campground you refer to is Cherry Stone. I have never dove there but wouldnt rule it out. Not sure on the trolley cars either but hopefully someone will offer some info on them. Most likely heading to Rawlings in the near future.

The trolley cars are in the Atlantic, I think off of Chincoteague. Somebody told me that the state of Virginia has a website with a map of locations, they are part of an artificial reef program.
