I think the cable is just a standard USB cable. But the cradle for the TUSA IQ-700 is significantly different than the cradle for the TUSA IQ-800. The locations of the electrical contacts and shape of the DC case is completely different on those 2 models - I think it would be tough to have a DIY job that would work for both models.
I simply ordered my TUSA IQ-700 download kit which included cable & cradle for my TUSA IQ-700 from Scubatoys - no problems, and I haven't seen a lower price for such anywhere else yet!
