So I went diving with my newer (only 4 freshwater dives) G260/Mk19Evo/620ti octo on 01/13 and 01/14/22 four salt water dives in total. After 01/13 I rinsed off the regulator first stage and soaked the second stage for around 30 minutes or so and periodically replaced the water with fresh water. I did this to my better half's Atomic ST1/Z2 octopus as well as another divers Z3/Z2 Atomics reg. Also rinsed the second stages for about 45 minutes on 01/14 then had to pack the gear up. Approximately 7 days later after getting home I hooked up the Atomic ST1/Z2 and it performed beautifully. I hooked up the G260/Mk19evo/620ti and the 620ti was completely normal. However the G260 was pretty difficult to breathe from. Nothing like the WOB from the four dives. The adjust knob was out all the way on all the regs. So I soaked the G260 again for 12 hours...no different. I took off the front cover, diaphragm and checked for any issues and found nothing. I then used my inline second stage adjustment tool and adjusted my second stage G260 as well as the internal part of the G260 adjustment knob Allen head and now it is back to breathing normally. So my question is what caused the G260 to go out of spec???? I have already spoken with Rsingler about it and wanted to hear what SP users thought?? So far I have no clue what happened?? It didn't occur with 5 other second stages only with my G260?
