I just saw that but can't make the dates - hoping they do it again. I imagine they're trying to fill a slow time, but even if it wasn't a special but they ran the connecting boat on a somewhat regular basis to enable this it would be a nice option to hit both places and avoid the dry-pack-fly cycle. If there was flexibility I might do something like 8 nights Little 4 nights Brac, and avoid weekend flights on either end too.

It's right after school is back in session and it is during peak hurricane season. That being said, if I weren't already going to be down in Florida for Goliath Grouper aggregation, I would very seriously consider it. I frequently travel by myself, the small single supplement is very attractive.

The boat transfer from Brac to Little Cayman is an innovative idea. This might not work very well all the time, as it is tied to a specific day. I was on Brac the end of last October and no boats went over to Little Cayman. We even lost a day of diving as Tropical Storm Philippe passed by. It would be interesting to see the stats for the Brac boats going over to Little Cayman, they generally offer it weekly

8k for a trip there without airfare does not seem like such a spectacular deal to me. Great scuba in Brac/LC, much better than GC.

If you happen to have the dates free. Only 18.5% single occupancy fee
2 Islands. 14 Days. 42 Dives.

That is very interesting, especially as they are providing boat transfers between the 2 islands. I believe that in the past when someone wanted to stay on both CB and LC, they had to fly to the other island and that brought the "wait to fly" rule into play even though it is just a short hop.

Of course, they've often arranged for morning boat trips (weather permitting) between CB and LC to dive Bloody Bay Wall or the Tibbetts - but there is always an extra charge. I have never seen them arrange resort transfers by boat before.

This is also the first time (that I know of) when they've rolled some dusk and night dives into a package! And the single supplement is very reasonable.

They clearly want to fill their hotels in September, the slowest season, so good for them for being willing to try something new!

True, but it's a 2 week/2 island trip that includes lodgings, all your meals, transfers, taxes and hotel service charges, and provides a lot of diving around both Brac and LC, including 4 extra dives; and a reasonable option for solo divers.

Depends on your perspective. The cost for the combo 2 weeks is a little less than the cost for a separate week at each of the resorts. However, you actually get 8 more dives with the combo than 2 separate weeks, worth nearly $500. Transport between the 2 islands is included. The diversity of dives would be very good. And, as already pointed out, small single supplement is great for those of us who sometimes travel alone.

I've been expecting them to cone out with some kind of 2 island offer now that they are almost done upgrading Cobalt Coast on Grand Cayman. Most folks fly into GC anyway and then connect to the sister islands, so you could visit/dive 2 different islands and enjoy some of the attractions of Grand Cayman.

I was surprised by the CB and LC bundle with boat transfers and extra dives included - because they could have done that a long time ago. It will be interesting to see if it is a popular option. Offering good pricing for solo divers is also a nice incentive for some.

Plus you usually have to pay extra for "special dives" like night dives, and trips over to BBW and/or Tibbett's Wreck depending where you are staying. Also, these "dusk dives" sound like a second afternoon dive offered a couple of times a week and that is new. One of the complaints you sometimes hear about Cayman as a diving destination is that it is difficult to do a lot of boat diving while you are there, 2 to 3 dives per day is the usual - plus an occasional night dive. That's plenty for me, but others may want more so this might be a good option.

Not sure exactly how the GC + Brac or LC combo would work. They probably could not offer the airfare between islands and you would lose the advantage of some of the extra dives by having to fly. I hope the Brac + LC combo works out, I would like to do sometime
