have been interested in doing that, was thinking of a trip with an LDS from around here, but they havent put up their dates for this new year yet.
I know we (2 of us) wouldnt be able to until march probably due to work and other diving commitments. I dont know how much these trips are usually, any ideas?

Have had a search around on the web and on here and can only find two operations, Ultimate Getaway http://ultimategetaway.net/index.html and the Playmate http://www.seaclusive.com/, the playmate offers prices online of about $250pp/d ($750 - 3day, $1000 - 4 day) or $2000 for 8 to charter plus $150 for up to another 3. I had read prices ranging from around only $500-700 for a 3 day with Ult Getaway.
Does anyone have a recent experience and price idea?? I know an LDS around here is going in march and may, their prices last year were $700 for the Ult Getaway - think they mark the actual price up though. Does anyone know if the boat was refitted with cabins of some sort or if it is still bunks/dorms?

Book early and find out if you will have like-minded people on the charter ie
hoto-divers with same and spearfishermen with same.I will be spending some time this year in the Marquesas,but my boat isn't an overnighter so the Tortugas are outta reach.

I have heard some negative feedback about the ultimate getaway....
I know a lot of people that have gone on the playmate and only have good things to say. Theres some killer spearfishing on playmate too if your interested in that.

I'm thinking about booking a liveaboard trip in Florida in May. Right now I'm torn between the Ultimate Getaway and the Blackbeards trip. I saw above that someone heard some negative feed back about Ultimate Getaway, I would love to know specifically what you heard. Blackbeards has good reviews, but it's longer and more $. Any help is appreciated.
