installing spring straps on jet fins

I got the Halcyon Spring-Heel Straps as a Xmas present and love them. For the price, one of my favorite pieces of gear for the benefits. They make fins easy to don and remove, and I've never had them come off unintentionally. Great for boat diving... and I believe a requirement for wreck or cave penetration.

Be sure to set the pin end as far as the shoulder part and keeping it there tap the end so that it forms a good mushroom like a well set rivet.
