Just another quick question.

With that huge WAL on the front of the housing, Will I need to remove the housing weight & will the camera be negatively or positively bouyant?

fergyjohn:
G'day

Just tested my new WAL above water, YUK. All the straight line edges appear curved, is this normal, will the same thing appear with my underwater shots, or is there some things I need to Know.

Your valuable advice is sought.

One point that I didn't see mentioned. Any zooming will make bad things happen to images, at least with the Inon WAL and an Ikelite housing.

Gilligan,
Question, how tight should i crank the housing lens adapter?

BadFish,
I assume you changed housing lens port rings as I did for the Inon Type 1.
Be careful not to overtighten that ring as you could crack the housing.
I wouldn't use any silicone on the threads either as that would make it unscrew more easily.
Just hand tighten it or use a jar opener strap device.
The first time you dive with the housing keep your hand on the lens ring as you descend and see if it tightens with depth. Mine did.
