I have to make a decision on which strobe for my G11 in FIX housing.
Any experiences, pro, cons and suggestions are welcome.
Thanks in advance.

PS. I may have a budged for only one at that time...:depressed:

oyoroy,
i have the 2010 G11 and a 2007 D-2000 strobe.
The strobe made about 200 dives between 20 and 140 ft and it worked always.
It works perfectly with my G11 camera and i would buy another if i have to.

between a Z240 & 110a ,i choose the inon ,but with a D2000 i prefer the S&S because with the D2000 you can also use a fiber.
but the both strobe are very good

Both are good, you will not be able to take a picture with one that you couldn't get with the other. Pricewise the Inon is $560; the YS110a is $100 more so I would go with the Inon.

Thanks all you guys for the comments.
To: bvanat -> I'm in Japan and I can actually get better deal for the S&S than for Inon

I also heard that the S&S sometimes doesn't fire while connected via the optical cable because the sensor is not that good. Any experiences with this?

The Inon optical sensor is extremely sensitive but I have never had a problem with the S&S (as part of the Athena Ring-strobe).
