Gilligan:
Look at the leash that comes with the GBUndersea lens dock. You can make one with the right type of zip tie and some fishing tackle gear.

Highly recommend this lens dock. However, if you want to order, send an email first. The owner lived in Louisiana when Katrina hit. I know he's working at getting back up fully, but make sure he can take care of you first if you have time constraints.

Well I have made a decision, partly due to a camera at the right price becoming available. C-8080 it will be.
One reason was the size. I found the smaller digitals are to small for me to use comfortably on the surface. I am used to SLR's (Nikon) and found the point and shoot just to fiddly.
Now we need a housing, tray, and strobe.

I have a c-8080 and I'm quite happy with it. It's big enough to have a large ccd. On the other hand mine makes nice lines in the edge of pictures :) Sent a complaint with a picture conserning this yesterday but oly hasn't replied just yet. So far I haven't liked the slow focus time. I used to have canon a-70 that focused in an instant. Macro/supermacro are brilliant. I actually sent my last thailand trip photos (you'll find the message with search function). If you want to check out what I've managed to shoot with mine. It's a big rig u/w but on the other hand it has good enough optics to really shoot and use zoom etc while diving. If you are thinking about adding a strobe later on it's a big plus that you can actually use ttl strobes with ikelite's housing or with Matthias Heinrich's replacement bulkhead.
