I have noticed on the drysuit that i just bought, that the inflator valve in the chest is very very uncomfortable. Is there anything that i can use to keep this valve from digging into my chest? It leaves it quite sore for days after. I just want to make it smooth rather than have the rough dimples sticking out of it.

Check your chest strap it maybe pushing in on it

My drysuit (Bare Nex-Gen) inflator valve came with a thin neoprene flap that helps cushion my chest. I once did a dive with the flap flipped up, which resulted in a small welt in the middle of my chest. Suit squeeze in addition to the front placement of the zipper on my undergarment made it very uncomfortable. Perhaps you can DIY a neoprene flap? It might make a big difference.
