Hello,

I am interested in doing some marine research in Manado and was
wondering if you might assist me in generating some interesteing
research topics.

I am a University student in the United States and am interested in
doing graduate work in marine biology. I have been doing molecular
biology and will have my first marine research experience this
november working for three months at a research station on the great
barrier reef called Lizard Island. I have always been interested in
doing some field work in Indonesia, and due to some connections that I have, am thinking about applying for a scholarship to do research there.

I need to write a research proposal for the scholarship and thought
you might be able to help me brainstorm some interesting and
creative marine issues / research topics.

Any ideas / suggestions are much appreciated. Regards, Jarrett Hines
