Hi Everyone! It was an awesome day out on the water today. The Gulf was flat and calm all day with the exception of a slight chop on the way back in. I have never been out there when it was so flat...why can't they all be like that?!! lol

The dive site was off Indian Rocks, about 65+ feet deep on a natural ledge. I didn't notice at what depth we hit the thermocline, but I certainly felt it. The bottom was a chilly 68 degress! I had work to do so, I was distracted from the cold for a bit. There were more fish out on this site, which was nice. Several amberjacks, crevalle jacks, a couple of groupers and others. The ledge had a fair amount of growth on it: sponges, corals, algae, crabs, urchins, etc. It was an interesting dive. I wish I had had more air and bottom time to just look around, but not this time. Maybe tomorrow?!

The ledge was probably 100-150 m in length (maybe more, I was surveying a 50 m transect line) and had an elevation of 2-3 feet.
