It was my first time to the cenotes but my anxieties quickly disappeared in the capable hands of Playa Scuba. I signed up for the 3 day package and extended it by an additional day as my enjoyment grew day by day diving the cenotes. Playa Scuba made sure that my time with them was fully optimised by taking me out to the best cenotes sites that the Mayan peninsular could offer.

I ended up going to about 6 different sites and I loved how they took so much pleasure in pointing out the uniqueness of each cenote and its residents. I even got to see the rare blind ghostfish. Luis, my instructor, spotted the ghostfish and he was as excited as I was. This was coming from someone who has probably dived the cenotes > 1,000 times.

I was especially fortunate to have personal attention on my last 2 days and I must commend Playa Scuba for taking me out eventhough I was the only diver. As such, I was able to indulge in my underwater photography at my leisure. I was never pressured to finish my dive quickly so that they could return early. Luis also indulged me by being a willing model on my wideangle shots.

My stay at Playa Del Carmen was especially wonderful due in large part to Playa Scuba. For a safe dive operation, interesting dive briefing at a hard to beat price, Playa Scuba is TOPS for me!
