When you use GFLow to generate the first stop on your dive plan, how is the length of the first stop implied by GFLow generated ?

Is there a document specifying the rules to generate the stops length ?
 
If you search for Eric Baker Understanding M-Values you'll find the information you are looking for


GF are calculated the same way, but at a % of the actual M-Value.

The length of the stop is determined by the next available ceiling (usually every 10ft/3m, but can be custom set to whatever one would like on some software).

Say if the first stop ends up being 70ft/21m, it will be the length of time until the ceiling is less than the next stop of 60ft/18m...

In the first approximation your delta-Pressure should be lower at deeper stop, so you'll need less time to off-gas to where you can proceed to the next stop. However the deepest stop should be defined by the fast tissue, so you're looking at 4-5 minutes half-time either way... so I don't think there is a straightforward relationship. ICBW and all that of course.
