Hi,

I am looking into diving around East Bali and South Lombok during late September and early October. I noticed that on 28th September there will be a super full moon. How adversely could this effect diving conditions or is this just one factor of many that will determine the diving conditions?

Many thanks,

Paul

Just one of many factors. The strongest currents are typically 2-4 days after the full moon so I would expect some decent currents but your guides will plan accordingly as it shouldn't be that much different than a normal full moon

I will be diving in Padang Bai, Candidasa and the Nusa islands in late September & early October. I did not know about the super full moon (whatever that is) but fully expect a lot of currents.
