My dive buddy is scheduled to have the following immunizations done today as a requirement for an EMT course he's taking. We're planning on doing 200' altitude deco dives today and Wednesday and are wondering if there is any reason to stay out of the water for 24-72 hrs after having the immunization shots? I've heard that the immunizations often cause minor symptoms?

Immunizations: TD, TB, Hep B, MMR

Any information or experience would be appreciated.

Thanks,
- Atticus

Your buddy might not feel like diving on the same day that he receives that vaccine cocktail.

If it was me, I'd delay today's dive and see how I felt on Wednesday.

Best regards.

Thank you for your quick reply! I think we will go have a nice discussion about fill station setup instead of taking any risks today.
