Let's not turn this into a political discussion on immigration.

I haven't used the online form yet. Filling out the form manually has never been that complicated or time consuming. The hardest part is writing your info microscopically in the teeny tiny boxes.

And under dim airplane lights.

If you can get hold of a pen. Few seem to have a pen on an airplane. They are prized possessions. Airlines won't provide them. Other businesses put their logo on cheap pens and use them as advertising.

I always remember to bring a pen but they always get borrowed by the guy sitting next to me.

I went ahead and filled one out for next week, figured I try it. It actually seemed more complex and time consuming than filling the actual paper immigration form but I was using a phone and not a computer. Looks like I will still need to fill out the paper customs form, can someone verify this.
I went into Montreal last night and see that paper forms in Canada are also (like the USA) a thing of the past and it was all electronic kiosks. I suspect that every where will be all electronic forms in a few years.

I have a zipper bank bag in my carry on where I keep passports, money, airline itineraries, cert cards, credit cards... and yes, a couple of pens. I'll lend the pens but I get them back.

If they even have the form on the airplane. Many flights don't hand them out. Then you have to fill it out when you get there. still not a big deal. This just makes it easier ahead of time and you don't have to try and write legibly in the little boxes.

The last couple of times I flew into CZM they had the forms on the plane but they were all in Spanish only.

I just filled it out and printed it out. It wasn't very difficult. My only concern is separating the ENTRADA form from the SALIDA form.

The countdown has begun. Four days to go. My bags are packed, I'm ready to go.

Cheers -

@gopbroek when we flew to Cancun last 2 weeks back. Some people in our flight had filled out these forms online and it worked fine. Having said that when we were picking up luggage I was looking for customs form and was informed we no longer needed that. While leaving we were just stopped by a customs officer asked couple of questions do you have any cigarettes or alcohol. Said no and were let go immediately.....
