hey gang!
thanks to you guys....my trip to coz was great! albeit, only 4 days......2.5 days of diving...but a little coz is better than no coz, amen?

we stayed at the presidente.....never had so much first class treatment in my life!! i've stayed at many places...nice places as well, and the pres just really has wonderful service....from a greeting at the footsteps with cold champagne, to the workers, the waitors, maids, etc...all wonderfully nice people.

they are great....as well as the breakfast buffet! yummy!

anyhow, our new gear worked great....we got the atomic b2's....i got my wife the diva bc, and i used the seaquest pro qd.....never failed us....really nice and comfy..

we dove at palancar, chankanab, cedral pass......really fun! now i know why you guys rave about the drift dives! we had a nice 3 knot current...took us down about 2/3 mile. what a rush!

i'll post some pics at the photo gallery!

ps> the horseshoe was soooooooooooo fun!
pss> scuba du was great and very accomodating....

take care, all!

Nice report. Thanks for posting! Sounds like you had a great time! My husband and I are going down in two more days and I'm excited. Looking forward to seeing your pics.

Details. . .we want more details. Did you get the upgrade at the Presidente?

lol! yes! we did!
we got a free upgrade to an ocean view room......got 2 free breakfast buffets.......EXCELLENT. Their service was sooooo nice...everyone was really warm and thoughful.....the service was just as good as the diving...

scubadu...although a busy op, was well-organized.....and never had more than 6 divers per DM.

a great trip..........

i asked the locals which were the best hotels to stay in......they all agreed....the pres, the occidental, iberostar........in that order...

next time we want to try the occidental.....but then again, i think we may be lifers for the pres....we met a few divers who ONLY stay at the pres...

ps> the breakfast buffet was really, really GOOOOOOOOOOD.

pss> we ate at la choza's....had a great dinner....the red snapper was tasty!
