As a note to those interested, I emailed the Nix guy, and he can put together custom packages of snaps at the same per-unit price (shipped) that his regular packages go for. That might make the bulk quantities/prices a bit more palatable!

Ken, that's really interesting. and here I've been ordering bulk the whole time for no good reason...
You may still have to buy in some quantity, since he has to sell enough to cover shipping, but he does have packages of brass snaps going for $20 shipped, so it's definitely worth asking him if you want 5 instead of 10!
