ok im gona try it, im gona make a singles wing. im planning on starting with a small tire inertube(seems easiest and safest), im gona buy a infltor, hose, and dump valve from LDS cus i get great deals and they like to see me build stuff. and i guess a old baclpack has the nessisary material for a shell and the zipper is already sown on,
what am i not thinking of. ss gromtes, and line sew slits for cam bands.

that covers the bladder, inflator, dump valve, gromets for bols, slits for bands...
what am i not thinking off?
oh, i'll try to post piics as i go.

on a side note i already have a singles wing and three other wings. i just want to see if i can make one that looks and functions well. i have a heavy duty dewing machine and im decent when it comes t making things.:coffee:

That sounds cool, can't wait to see it.

You might consider going to the fabric store. You can get 1000 denier nylon and a gromet kit there, probably a good zipper too. Then you could make it really nice, and tough.

iv'e put my other packs through the rigors of face climbing and never had a problem and they've been drug on rock a lot harder than limestone and edges that were alot sharper. basicly i buy my stuff to use it not baby it as far as my climbing and outdoor gea goes the dive gear gets exstra carefull treatment.
