hi everyone!
I've just finished my Irish Leaving Certificate (= American High School Graduation exams i guess)
Biology was naturally the easiest subject for me and i performed the best in that in my state exam, in fact i got an 'A1' in honours which is the highest acheivable....dont ask about my history exam though lol
I also really like scuba diving and marine life...Soooo i just jumbled the 2 together and i picked 'marine biology ' as my course to study in college!
First of all, does anyone have any experience in studying marine biology??i mean, i am on a gap year at the moment and there isnt really anything that i really want to do...marine biolgy is just the subject which i dont want to do the least, if you know what i mean?lol
Another thing is can anyone suggest good places to study marine bio..in the US i've been looking into Florida but since i don't live there i'd appreciate some local knowlegde from anyone??? I've been accepted into Galway university in ireland and Liverpool university in the uk.
How do european degrees differ from american ones??? thanks!-kiki
