Hello everyone,

I've been informed this morning by my mother that my German cousin (who I've never met before) is coming to the states to spend some time with me. She wanted to visit California because of the ocean yada yada yada, but we live on the East Coast and there was no way that I was flying out there with her. So, my parents decided that they'll fly the two of us down to Naples Florida where my grandmother will host us. The girl just turned 18 and wants to see the beach. I can't just sit on a beach all day, so I was wondering if anyone knew of a good snorkeling charter I could take her out on? I figured it'd be a fun afternoon considering you don't really need to speak, you just basically point at the fish, solving my language barrier problem. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated...

You need to take a day trip to Key Largo and snorkel Pennekamp. It's about a 2 hr drive from Naples (across the Everglades, which is also good for a day trip). Leave in the morning, get some lunch, go snorkeling and then drive back.

I would be surprised if she didnt speak some English.....most take it in school.

Lots of great snorkling in the Florida Keys. In Key Largo area there are, to name a few, Christ of the Abyss, Grecian Rocks, The Horseshoe, French Reef, Molasses..............many more!

Do an Everglades airboat tour too, preferably one that has raised seating so you can see over the people in front of you.
