Awwwww.....not another one!!! Jonathan just had a little baby boy (announced in Wreck Ferrets) & Hoppy too! You guys are trying to make me broody!!!

You've got a handsome one there - congratulations! :wave-smil

Congratulations to all!
Pretty slim reg he's using, looks like it might contribute to mask flooding though.

ShoalDiverSA:
My second child, Nicholas, was born today at 10:20am. He weighs 4.025kgs and is 53cm tall. What an incredible feeling. I thought things could not get better after my daugther, Morgan was born. I was proven wrong today. One of each!

The bonus is that I will be getting my buddy back soon. It has been lonely diving without her during the pregnancy.

I must go sleep now (getting the last couple of hours in before he comes home).

Cheers,

Andrew

I looks like he'll fit in a xxx-small 3mm shortie. Well... better get him signed up for the summer Open Water class.

Thanks again, guys.

All the good vibes here got me bleary-eyed (seriously!). I am looking forward to showing these pages of congratulations to Amanda. This will help her understand why I spend so much time on the 'Board.

He spent the night with his Mom and is sleeping with her again tonight. They are being discharged tomorrow, so a spring-clean is in order tonight...

He had his first "pool-session" today. Screamed all the way through it. But I remain ever hopeful :)

Cheers (and thanks!),

Andrew

Photos from the "pool" session. At least he was happy afterwards.

I know one thing now - he has VERY healthy lungs. He will definitely ace a CESA (well I suppose he has already aced a Caesar).

Cheers,

Andrew

Andrew he is just stunning. I am sitting her with tears in my eyes. Don't know why but he is just so cute. You and your wife must be very proud.

Congratulations to the family! Happy Birthday Nicholas!

Aw Sheesh....please don't tell me there's something in the configuration of the board that causes this phenomenon! Can I catch it through my keyboard? :D

Thanks (!) Dee,

Don't worry, I have it on good authority that it is not contagious through keyboard contact - at least that's what my dad told me :eyebrow:

If you do catch it, diving is contra-indicated for at least nine months. It is one of the more severe forms of bubbles found in the body as it cannot be treated in a chamber. I attach a photo showing an extreme manifestation of the aforementioned bubble :) [Seriously, in the last few weeks of the pregnancy, there were lots of comments about beach balls. Amanda even got them from the hospital staff!]

Cheers,

Andrew

PS: In the background is uShaka Marine World, South Africa's newest aquarium. It must form part of your travel itinerary if you get to sunny S.A.
